Online session: A doctor’s firsthand account of Gaza – with Dr Raúl Incertis

We are delighted to begin our online adult education series with Dr Raúl Incertis on Saturday 14 November at 7pm (UK time).

Dr Incertis is a Spanish Consultant in Anaesthesia and Emergency Medicine. He was in Gaza volunteering with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) on 7 October 2023. Despite having lived through the bombing, he chose to return in 2025, spending four months volunteering with the Canadian organisation Glia at two hospitals in the Strip.

He will share his experience and talk about what he witnessed and lived through as Israeli bombardment killed civilians indiscriminately, many of them children.

Many thanks; I’ve signed up for Dr Incertis’ talk. One thing though, 14 Nov is date of family party (husband has Big Birthday!) Possibly still celebrating at 7 pm. Any chance of talk being recorded?
Shalom/salaam, Ros

Happy birthday to your husband, and hope the celebrations go well. We’ll be recording the session if possible, will confirm the details once they’re finalised.
